Heritage Elementary = an "A" School
Heritage Elementary is very proud to be designated an A School by the state. Students have worked hard to improve language arts reading and math scores to earn this grade. The grade is given based on points earned for the percentage of students passing ISTEP+ and the number of low, middle, and high ability students showing high growth.
It feels like December, but it’s hard to believe we are already heading for the end of the semester and winter break. Students will be working on the first semester skills and taking assessments to determine their mastery in these areas. Grade 4, 5, and 6 students are preparing for the winter concert on December 10th at 6:30 PM. Student Council invites everyone to be an elf on the same day, December 10th, with the Great Elfin Day. Students may dress as elves and wear their elf (Santa) hats.
Warm wishes for everyone’s holiday. We hope each student will return in January ready for the semester 2. Students will return on Tuesday, January 6, 2015.
