Campus Information: This is the eighth year as part of the Heritage K-12 Campus. Heritage Elementary houses grades K - 6th.

 Attendance Area: Monroeville, Hoagland and a portion of Southeast Fort Wayne. Heritage Elementary has a diverse population of around 525 students with approximately 70 students per grade level.  Class sizes average around 24 students per class.

 Mission Statement: To inspire a student’s passion for learning, knowledge, and skills while building character and responsible citizenship.

 Vision Statement: Excellence…Everyone…Everyday!

 Staff & EACS Curriculum: The Heritage Elementary staff promotes developing strong academic, social, and emotional skills.

Additional opportunities. Instructional program which incorporates Daily Five reading, 6 + 1 Writing Traits, and Daily Math Review into the daily curriculum at all grade levels. All literacy lessons support learning the five critical aspects of reading. Heritage utilizes the Project Lead the Way STEM based program for 3rd – 6th grades.

 Extra-Curricular Academic Opportunities: Student Council, Spell Bowl, Math Bowl, Spelling Bee, and Robotics all offer an academic challenge to our students. Additionally, students have the opportunity to participate in band, choir, piano lessons, and Art Club.

 Extra-Curricular Sports: Intramurals (fall and spring), Running Club, and participation in junior high sports (6th graders). The high school also sponsors several additional opportunities for students to participate in flag and PAL Football, basketball leagues / camps, and volleyball camps.

 Behavior Programs: Our PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support) program and kindness focus allows students to practice the skills of Character Counts and prevent disruptions to learning. Students promote the values of honesty, respect, responsibility and caring.

 PTO: Heritage Elementary has a very strong and active PTO that brings many wonderful and exciting events to the Heritage Patriot Community. The PTO is always looking for new members to join and be a part of their supportive group!
